I was born and raised right here in Flushing, Queens, NY, so this community is my hometown! I attended St. John’s University and graduated with a degree in Business Management. Currently, I reside on Long Island with my husband, two handsome sons who are growing up way too fast and my “third child”, a German Shephard named Allie. To say that my family is my world is an understatement. I treasure every moment that I am blessed to spend with them! I enjoy exercising daily, reading, having a good laugh and spending time traveling with family and friends. My favorite place to be is at the beach. It’s my “happy place” where I find peace, serenity and joy.

Darah Belliard is a first generation American who believes the world is her oyster. She is an avid learner with many licenses, degrees and courses accrued over the years. When she’s not delivering outstanding services to our customers, you’ll find her enjoying quality time with her daughter. As long term residents of Queens, they love eating out on Bell Blvd and taking walks in Kissena Park. Why do our customers love doing business with her? Most say its because she is attentive to their needs and is sure to make them laugh. Darah speaks Spanish fluently and is very proud of her Caribbean roots.

It is my pleasure to meet you. As a fellow resident of the Flushing, Queens community, I understand the concerns and needs of you, our neighbors and am looking forward to delivering an exceptional customer experience. That begins by building strong relationships with our policyholders, so please allow me to share a little about myself.

Spending time with my family including my wife Holly, our son Elijah and our feline family member, our cat Layla brings me a tremendous amount of joy. I am grateful to be so incredibly blessed. Being of service to others has always been an important part of my character. I had long desired to earn the title of United States Marine and proudly, I accomplished this goal on April 3, 1998. Enjoying my favorite sports teams battle it out on the field, the baseball diamond or the court are some of my favorite pastimes. You can always find me rooting for my squads whether I am at home or enjoying a game in person. So for all of you NY Mets and NY Knick fans, I’m always “game” to talk about last nights scores and plays of the game! Traveling is also a passion of mine, some of my favorite places to visit are Miami, Cape Cod, Washington State, VA Beach and Europe.

My customers love doing business with me because they say I have a pleasant, calming voice and I’m always willing to assist them with policy questions or concerns. They love to do business with someone who shares the special bond of being a fellow Queens, NY resident. We live here and raise our families here, so it’s important to treat one another well. My policyholders all know how much I enjoy reminiscing about our neighborhood’s past and sharing memories of what it was like growing up here back “in the day”.

I am extremely proud to be a part of the small business community in Flushing, Queens serving our policyholders, friends, fellow business owners and neighbors. I have enjoyed a career in the insurance industry for over 25 years. I began on the claims side, serving policyholders and assisting them through claims process. Once I transitioned to an agency, I knew I had found my passion. Protecting the lives of my customers and their family members from the unexpected remains my priority. Having vast knowledge of the insurance industry allows me to assist our policyholders with their Auto, Home, Condo, Renters, Life, Health and Small Business Insurance needs. I am a New Yorker through and through and currently reside on Long Island in the town of Huntington with my family and my Golden Retriever, Sonny. My family and I are dog lovers, there is nothing better than spending time with Sonny on long walks, hiking and of course playing at the beach! Sonny definitely runs our household!
